What will you be doing?
In the role of Manager Affiliates, you are responsible for recruiting and onboarding new partners who wish to collaborate with Festivalcadeau by participating in the (recently launched) affiliate programme. Both businesses and individuals can participate in the Festivalcadeau affiliate programme. Affiliates promote the Festival Cadeaukaart by creating an affiliate account and generating banners and unique URL links via the dashboard, which they can then promote. Does this promotion lead to a sale on the Festivalcadeau webshop? Then the affiliate receives a percentage commission on the sale value.
Anyone with a (large) reach can participate in the Festivalcadeau affiliate programme. This includes influencers with an audience on social media channels such as Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, but owners of websites or blogs are more than welcome. As an Account Manager Affiliates, it is your task to approach potential affiliates and ultimately welcome them as clients. You do this in any way you prefer and according to your own approach, which will be determined in consultation. You can choose a communication channel yourself, or use multiple channels simultaneously. You also decide when you do this, as you can determine your own working hours. In short, a versatile, independent, and responsible role!
What your average working day looks like
- You determine the strategy and coordinate it with us. You develop or refine the strategy where necessary. All with the goal of welcoming as many new affiliate partners as possible who will work under your management.
- You sit down at your laptop and create a new email sequence for acquisition. You prepare it and send it at the time you think will be most effective.
- In between, you receive a call from a potential partner who is interested in signing up. You have a pleasant conversation, ask about the marketing channels they want to use for promotion, and further convince the partner to become part of the Festival Cadeaukaart.
- After the affiliate has registered as a new partner, you have a few more contacts - by phone, email, or WhatsApp - to explain how the dashboard works and provide guidance so that as many sales as possible are generated.

What you bring to the table
For this Manager Affiliates role, you have:
- An MBO-4 work and thinking level, obtained through education or work experience;
- Work experience in a commercial role or environment;
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch (and preferably English), both verbal and written.
You bring the following competencies:
- Commercial: Acquiring new partners is your number #1 priority. You do (almost) whatever it takes.
- Driven: You do not have a 9-to-5 mentality. You are active when the most opportunities arise, whether that is early in the morning, during lunch, or late in the evening.
- Creative: You dare to think outside the box when it comes to seizing alternative ways of working. You are inventive when it comes to combining different working methods.
- Professionalism: We expect a professional work attitude towards everyone you come into contact with in your role. You represent Festivalcadeau and are the face of our company.
What you receive from us
As a Manager Affiliates, you will join us for 16 – 40 hours per week and can count on the following employment conditions:
- A gross monthly salary based on commission. The more partners you welcome as affiliates, the higher your gross monthly income. You are building your own business where the sky is the limit. Your success is in your own hands!
- No annoying supervisor looking over your shoulder while you work. You determine your own work location and hours, allowing you to be your own boss. However, we schedule a video call every two weeks to discuss progress.
- A flexible employment contract on a self-employed basis, where we initially enter into a collaboration for 12 months. If performance is good, this will be renewed annually.
