De broers van Arkel - Zeg maar u

The van Arkel brothers - Say 'u' is a dryly comedic theatre performance in which the brothers Jeroen and Martijn hilariously explore the transition to adulthood. In the intimate Stadscentrum het Parochiehuis in Delden, you will experience an evening full of absurdity and unexpected poetry. The finalists of the Amsterdam Kleinkunst Festival 2025 take you along on their quest for identity, brotherhood, and the perfect juicer. Expect a performance that will make you laugh and think.

You will experience how two completely different brothers struggle with being men and their mutual rivalry. With theatrical craftsmanship and charming acting, they create an intimate atmosphere in which small gestures yield the biggest jokes. The performance is a feast of recognition for anyone who has ever doubted their own adulthood. Let yourself be surprised by this unique mix of humour and genuine emotion in a full-length debut that you won't want to miss.
